Rocks has 855 acres of dense
forests and massive boulders rising above Deer Creek.
The King and Queen Seat, once a ceremonial gathering place of the
Susquehannock
Nation of Native Americans, is a natural 190 foot rock outcrop. This cliff, easily reached
by scenic trails, affords a view of the rolling hills and farmland of Harford County. See

Deer Creek is popular for fishing and tubing. Secluded glens along its shores offer
ideal
spots for hiking and relaxation.

Campfire programs, fishing, flatwater canoeing, hiking trails, historic interest, hunting,
picnic, playground, shelters and tubing.
Picnicking Three large picnic areas. Playground equipment is available in each picnic
area.
Pavilions For use by permit only, pavilions are available for special occasions.
Hiking Several miles of scenic trails connect various points of interest and picnic
areas within the park lands.
King and Queen Seat Soaring natural rock outcrops provide breathtaking views, and
depending on interest and skill levels, challenging recreation to the hiker or climber.
Accessibility for the disabled Handicapped picnic sites are available at Hills Grove and
Rock Ridge. Check with park office upon arrival.
Location The park in Harford County is about 30 miles north of Baltimore and
8 miles northwest of Bel Air on MD RT. 24.
