About the Camp Directors

In 1977, the Board of Education in Harford County, Maryland approved the inclusion of lacrosse into the interscholastic sports venue. Two of the original coaches, John Grubb, at North Harford High School and Frank Mezzanotte, at Edgewood High School, who had been teammates at Towson University, established themselves immediately as leaders of strong programs to be emulated by others. Always on the cutting edge, these two friends were constantly looking for ways to improve the level of play in Harford County and to give back to the sport they loved. In 1981 they agreed upon a plan to co-direct a lacrosse camp. In character with the uncommon zeal that permeates the personalities of these two men, that simple agreement has evolved into one of the finest lacrosse camps in the world.
With the introduction of Lacrosse into Upstate South Carolina, Frank Mezzanotte and John Grubb joined Towson Lacrosse teammate Ron Cadorette to bring their premier lacrosse camp to the South. In 2004, Ron Cadorette, Frank Mezzanotte and John Grubb establish the All-South Hall of Fame Lacrosse Camp. Together they bring 25 years of Maryland Lacrosse experience to the South Carolina area and have established one of the premier lacrosse camps in the South.
As you read the shortened bios below you will gain an appreciation for the caliber of individuals that set the example for the entire Harford Lacrosse Camp - staff, coaches and campers.
