About the Camp Directors |
|
In 1977, the Board of Education in Harford County, Maryland approved the inclusion of lacrosse into the interscholastic sports venue. Two of the original coaches, John Grubb, at North Harford High School and Frank Mezzanotte, at Edgewood High School, who had been teammates at Towson University, established themselves immediately as leaders of strong programs to be emulated by others. Always on the cutting edge, these two friends were constantly looking for ways to improve the level of play in Harford County and to give back to the sport they loved. In 1981 they agreed upon a plan to co-direct a lacrosse camp. In character with the uncommon zeal that permeates the personalities of these two men, that simple agreement has evolved into one of the finest lacrosse camps in the world. |
